Abstract

In the present age, Internet of things (IoT) has entered a golden era of rapid growth. The Internet of things is an idea that broadens the advantages of the normal Internet steady availability, remote control capacity, and information sharing. Every day, things are getting connected with the internet. The main aim of this paper is to monitor the visitor of the hospital. If a person knocks or presses the push button, the image of the person is captured and stored in a database. The captured image is converted into bytes in order to reduce the size of the memory and also it’s more secured. The server will check the details of the person such as whether the person is authorized or not. If the person is known, the server will send the notification to the owner or else it will send the notification along with the image and video of the unknown person. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
