Abstract
Home Security is a critical issue in today's life when everyone is staying outside for either personal or professional reason. It becomes difficult for them to keep track of the happenings at home. They are extremely particular about who is entering their house when they are outside and deciding who should enter into the home. There are system installed in houses to ensure the security of the house like alarms and video cameras they do not provide end to end security and are less focused on heterogeneous environment w.r.to protocols and standards they use can't be integrated within the solution. This work aims to provide a secure, efficient and reliable system that can help users to keep track of happenings at their home or even in their office. This system informs the user about the visitor whose entry can be restricted by the owner irrespective of the location. This work proposes a framework using Internet of Things that includes intelligence in networking while sending data to the user. Inclusion of intelligent network within the system makes this framework robust for fast and efficient communication from end device to cloud and vice versa. This framework would provide a uniform access to devices and information and would facilitate different kind of interactions among them. The framework would ensure end to end security, management and automation within the system with reduces delay and enhances reliability. © 2017 IEEE.
