Soft switched voltage multiplier cell (VMC) based DC-DC converter is proposed in this paper. The proposed converter provides the required high voltage gain without using a transformer. Thus, a compact converter with high power density is obtained. The proposed topology has higher efficiency due to soft switching of active device. Experimental results prove that the converter operates with a maximum efficiency of 95% and provides good load regulation. © 2014, KoREMA. All rights reserved.
