A new test procedure of one-sample statistical hypotheses for means in normal populations with interval data is proposed. The interval decision rules that are used to accept or reject the null and alternative hypotheses are given. With the help of the numerical example, the proposed test procedure is illustrated. The proposed test is extended to statistical hypotheses testing for fuzzy data.
