A lot of work was executed on conventional clustering methods like k-mean. Later some fuzzy c-mean clustering was proposed. Fuzzy c-mean algorithm was applied on different areas like pattern recognition, data mining issues, image processing approaches and medical imaging. Clustering is more challenging when applied on medical images. Thus, the medical image segmentation is an important process in image processing used to partition the images into different regions.
