One of the most instrumental factors for successful collaboration in a group is its capacity to perform an assortment of tasks. The capacity to perform said tasks is termed as collective intelligence. In this paper, we have analyzed the collective biological behavior observed in termite colonies. Further, we have simulated an environment in which the mechanisms inspired from termite colonies are applied for the task of two-dimensional structural buildup. We have elaborated by implementing learning mechanisms which are yielding progressive results with both conditional and quantifiable benchmarks. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.
