Cloud Computing is an emerging computing model in vogue currently. Cloud computing techniques are being employed in almost every organization, irrespective of their size. Paramount importance is given to the challenges faced by Cloud Computing. Power Management is one of the major issues faced by cloud computing. This paper discusses a new power management algorithm in Green cloud based on load balancing and load sharing. Maximizing the utilization of renewable energy resource is the key point in this paper. By this proposed system, power consumption can be mitigated during unnecessary situations and by balancing the load among all the clusters. © Research India Publications.
