Abstract
Online social networks (OSNs), attract millions of people and hence users are drastically increasing day by day. Thus the users of the online social network increase ultimately. OSN users existing social relationship can be generalized as 1-hop trust relationship, and further they extend their network through a multi-hop trust chain during the recommendation of authenticated users. Unfortunately, privacy issues increased in the social networking site which leads to several legal issues. Usually, OSN users will not be ready to enclose their identities and their friends' information to any public site or to externals. The existing system automatically considers the attributes and mutuality between people but it did not consider all the trust factors for finding authenticated users. In this paper, we perform a trust analysis on OSNs which will improve the recommendations of authenticated users in social network sites. © 2017 IEEE.
