Vehicular Ad hoc network consists of vehicles moving in both directions either on a high way or in city region. Nodes (vehicles) in VANET exchange information between them to forecast the road conditions to avoid the possible dangers. In addition to exchanging messages nodes often access data maintained by other nodes that belongs to Infotainment applications. Data accessibility becomes poor when the connection between vehicles is lost. This happens due to high mobility of vehicles. Replication helps to improve data accessibility among vehicles in VANET with high mobility. We propose an algorithm to allocate replica on vehicles based on the density of vehicles such as sparse and denser. In addition to allocating replica based on density we also consider failure probability of each node, a key measure to improve data availability among nodes in VANET.
