This research paper is an attempt to reveal different methods of activities that are being followed effectively among higher secondary girl students in English classes at Government Girl's Higher Secondary school, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. These activities are tailor made by English language teachers in accordance with the capabilities and proficiency of the students. This study is expected to ignite the girl students at Higher Secondary level to get interested and involved in the process of improving their speaking skill in spite of the hostile syllabus structures and lack of exposure to English language. © Serials Publications.
