The wide diameter of a graph is a natural generalization of diameter in a graph when we take account of the connectivity of the graph. The concept of wide diameter has been discussed and used in practical applications, especially in the distributed and parallel computer networks. In this paper, we find the wide diameter of generalized fat tree. Moreover we obtain the bisection width of generalized fat tree. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
