In this study, yttrium doped zinc ferrite (ZnFe2−xYxO4x = 0.01–0.1) and yttrium and copper co-doped zinc ferrite (CuyZn1−yFe2−xYxO4x = 0.1 and y = 0.5) were synthesized by solution combustion method. The synthesized nanoparticles were authenticated by various techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive X-ray analysis (SEM-EDAX) and UV–visible spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity of synthesized nanoparticles was studied by performing the degradation of methylene blue (MB) under visible light. 95% of MB was degraded in 180 min using yttrium-doped zinc ferrite. 89% of MB was degraded in 30 min using copper and yttrium co-doped zinc ferrite under visible light using 10 mg of the catalyst and 50 µl of hydrogen peroxide. Photocatalytic degradation of colorless pollutant bisphenol A also carried out using the doped zinc ferrite. © 2019, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

Synthesis, characterization, optical and photocatalytic activity of yttrium and copper co-doped zinc ferrite under visible light

In this article an interesting procedure is proposed for fuzzy travelling salesman problems and assignment problems using " R" software packages such as "FuzzyNumbers" and "lpSolve" and fuzzy travelling salesman problems using "R" software packages "FuzzyNumbers" and "TSP". To validate the procedure some numerical examples are illustrated and the results are compared with the contemporary procedures. © 2020, Research Publication. All rights reserved.

Solving fuzzy assignment and fuzzy travelling salesman problems using R software

Scanners are a special class of automata and considered as computational models which accept local information. A local language is defined by the factors of its words of length two and can be generalized by Locally Testable Languages. A natural computation on sequential tasks is concatenation; it models a system finishing one task and then starting another one. We have adopted parallelism to model the tasks of a sequential system because this methodology enables computational tasks to be completed using various types of multiple resources simultaneously. Parallel computing has become an important concept in computer architecture. The classification of parallel computers is based on the level at which parallelism is supported by the hardware. We have introduced parallelisable string-based SP-languages as the collection of series parallel languages and parallel series languages. Parallelisable string-based SP-local language has been defined and their acceptance or recognition on parallelisable string-based SP-regular grammar has been proved. © 2020. All Rights Reserved.

Parallelisable String-Based SP-Local Languages and their properties

Parallelism is a process by which a sequential string is broken down into a number of alphabets and used to speed up the acceptance of a string. To identify the parallelisable string, we have used parallel operator || and defined the language as parallel series languages. Algebraic and recognition properties of series parallel posets have been studied by Lodaya in [8]. In this paper, we have introduced finite and infinite parallel series language (parallel strings are connected sequentially). We have considered the set of all parallel series language as topological space and prefix order relation (poset relation) has been used to relate two parallel series strings. Topological concepts like limit, sequence, open set, closed set and basis for parallel series languages and their properties have been derived. © BEIESP.

Topological Properties of Parallel Series Language

A new interesting third-order nonlinear (NLO) organic material Pyrrolidinium 3-nitrophthalate (PY3N) is synthesized by water solvent in an equimolar ratio by room temperature solution growth technique. The crystal system (monoclinic), space group (P21/c and lattice constants (a = 13.245 (9) Å, b = 11.775 (7) Å, c = 8.612 (5) Å, β = 99.265 (2)°) were obtained from single crystal XRD. The vibrational and NMR spectral analyses confirmed the different functional groups and chemical environment of molecules present in the crystal lattice. The UV-vis study showed the crystal has good transparency with band gap and the index of refraction displays the normal dispersion behavior. The crystal demonstrates moderate surface tolerance to laser power (4.887 GW cm-2). The non-linear parameters were estimated by Z-scan technique. We have investigated the second order hyperpolarizability 'γ' of PY3N crystal with electric field and frequency by using HF method with 6-311++g(d, p) level. The theoretical third order susceptibility (3) value is 0.196 × 10-6 esu. The experimental (3)value is 3.131 × 10-6 esu. The effective optical limiting action is directed by PY3N crystal. The crystal is identified as a soft material from hardness measurement. The PY3N crystal has thermal stability (189 °C) which is identified using thermal analysis. The thermal activation energy (77.286 kJ mol-1) is determined from TGA data. The good quality of the crystal is confirmed from the intense photoluminescence peak. The etching study revealed the elongated square pattern on the developed crystal surface. © 2018 IOP Publishing Ltd.

Topological properties on series parallel posets

The chips designed for security related applications must be robust, to globally resist various types of attacks. Power analysis attacks are now becoming a significant threat to the exploitation of security in many devices. These attacks proficiently disclose the secret key information without much effort. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a widely used symmetric cryptographic algorithm, which is also susceptible to such power attacks. In the proposed work, we have replaced the AddRoundKey block of AES with adiabatic 2N-2N2P logic. This countermeasure breaks the dependency between the power consumption trace and the secret key information. To validate its efficiency in counteracting against DPA we have compared with CMOS logic. In addition to the resistance offered against DPA attacks, this design lowers the overall power consumption as part of the energy consumed is recovered during each clock cycle. © 2013 IEEE.
