The issue of Loan outstanding has been an area of concern for all economies and reduction in outstanding of Loans has become synonymous with functional efficiency of financial intermediaries. Although this seems to be an issue of individual banks and financial institutions, it has wider macroeconomic implications. It is important that, if resolution strategies for recovery of dues from Loan outstanding are not put in place quickly and efficiently, these outstanding loans would deteriorate in value over time and only scrap value would be realized at the end. Thus an analysis of Loan outstanding is evaluated using ANOVA analysis to identify the current status and the necessary recommendations can be evolved based on the analysis of the last five years 2008-2013.

Loan outstanding of banks against SHGs in India - A trend analysis of last five years

Evaluating the financial performance of a company is a turbulent work. There are lots of financial performance measures circling around the field of evaluation. It is very essential to find out a model or tool to select the best financial performance measure which should tolerate the elusiveness in the companies' decision making problem. Fuzzy Set Theory and Fuzzy Soft Theory have proved to be a successful in handling imprecise and vague knowledge that characterize this kind of problems, and it has been applied in a variety of fields in the last decades. Based on earlier literature, four important parameters, Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (P/E Ratio), Economic Value Added (EVA), Market Value Added (MVA), have been selected. The first two measures are from Traditional Accounting Measures (TAM) and the latter two measures are from Value Based Measures (VBM). Selecting a Superior Financial Performance Measure (SFPM) of a company using fuzzy soft set is the target of this paper. © 2014 Academic Publications, Ltd.

A STUDY ON SFPM ANALYSIS USING FUZZY SOFT SET

In System on Chip, buses and point to point links are used as a communication infrastructure between one IP to another, but these cannot provide efficient interconnect from performance point of view. So NoC architecture was proposed to provide communication in multiprocessor SoC and overcome the limitations. This paper has implemented a 5-port 32-bit and 64-bit router architecture using wormhole routing technique for 2D-mesh network by using simple deterministic algorithm, flow control and decoding mechanism. In this router, 2 types of crossbar are used named as multiplexer and tri-state buffer matrix for efficient design. Comparisons of area and power are done for these router designs using ASIC tool flow in Cadence using TSMC 90nm and 180nm process technologies. Simulation results are performed in Cadence NC simulator. It is demonstrated that multiplexer router design is more efficient than a matrix router design as area and power increases for matrix design while using same port-width. © 2013 IEEE.

Area and power efficient network on chip router architecture

Purpose: Dairy activities taken up by SHG women play a crucial role in socio - economic development of poor women leading to an increased standard of living. As scheduled caste (SC) women do not have much sources of income due to belonging to a deprived segment of the society, milching business has proved to be income generating for them, which they can carry out easily as it may be their traditional business and they already own cattle, thus requiring less capital and skill to carry out this business. Therefore this paper aims at identifying the factors which stimulate Scheduled Caste (SC) women to opt for milching business and how increase in income enhances these factors. Design/Methodology/Approach: Data was collected from primary and secondary sources. Primary data was collected from women SHGs using questionnaire and interview method. Secondary data was collected from various published and unpublished sources like NABARD, NGO reports, journals. Analysis was done using percentage, frequency, weighted average, mean score, standard deviation and ANOVA. Findings: The present study revealed a positive association between income and factors facilitating milch activities of poor SC SHG women. Originality/Value: Present study concentrates on analyzing the impact of income on factors facilitating milching business of SC women of two districts of Tamil Nadu, which has not been attempted so far. Therefore this is an original work of the author.

Factors facilitating scheduled caste self help group women to undertake milch activities for income generation

This paper discusses the origin of various knowledge sources, the traditional knowledge (TK) in general and the same with respect to medicines, its product value across the globe and the percentage of complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) users in developed countries, where India stands in terms of usage as well as production to foreign markets. Importantly, it examines the socio - economic benefits arising out of the same, India's place in the market at a global level in spite of it being the richest with natural resources as well as vast knowledge assets. The knowledge here is intellectual property. This paper proposes some of the remedies in the protection and rights of the knowledge and the communities which have become of prime importance. Hence there is a need to give priority in controlling this problem of erroneous exploitation of TK in India to the maximum extent possible with various legal and marketing strategies.
