Objective: The demand for healthcare service is increasing due to awareness of people on the importance of health and quality of life. Hence, it has become very essential for healthcare organizations to look at strategies for quality service delivery for patient satisfaction. Among the various strategies for enhanced employee outcome, medical employee's commitment to organization is very important. This study examined the relationship between employee commitment and its outcome in healthcare Industry. Purpose: This paper examines the impact of employee commitment and employee outcome like intention to leave, work stress and individual performance in healthcare industry. And also to understand whether demographic variables like Age, Gender and Experience exhibit difference on Continuous Commitment and employee outcome. Findings:A strong relationship was identified between employee's continuous commitment and employee outcome. Intention to leave or quit is greatly affected by lack of commitment to the organization and work stress. When employee's continuous commitment is high, and they understand the cost of leaving the organization, then turnover intension will be low. Research limitations: The impact of employee commitment employee outcome was only measured. The important aspect patient's satisfaction was not measured. Practical Implications: Employees committed towards their organizations are very enthusiastic and render maximum productivity to their organization. It is evident that employees with continuous commitment understand the cost of leaving the job and need of holding the present job and so job turnover is less. This makes them highly productive. Increase in employee commitment will help health care Industry to retain employees and move ahead to experience global competition.

The Outcome of Employee Commitment in Healthcare Industry

In today’s tech-savvy society, social media platforms revolutionise the way in which people communicate and share information with each other. These platforms enable customers to instantly and openly convey their opinions, criticisms and praises on various topics pertaining to products and brands. Hence it becomes imperative for organisations to integrate social media information into their CRM strategy. In this paper, relative efficiency of the social CRM packages using fuzzy AHP/DEA: AR-CCR was determined by considering price as the input criterion and functionality, product quality and customer support as output criteria. Using fuzzy AHP it was found that product quality (41.66%) is the most important criteria followed by functionality (33.29%) and customer support (25.05%). Pipedrive and Really Simple Systems were found to be relatively more efficient. In this manner a social CRM package that best fits an organisation’s customer-centric work culture is selected. The social CRM vendors can utilise these results to benchmark their packages against their competitors. © 2019 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Relative efficiency of social CRM software: A hybrid fuzzy AHP/DEA approach

In recent years latent heat energy storage (LHES) has received a worldwide focus in the area of solar still applications. Among various techniques available to improve the productivity of solar stills, heat storage is one of the proverbial areas in the present scenario. LHES surpasses sensible heat energy storage (SHES) in solar still applications owing to its properties like latent heat, thermal conductivity, etc. Focus has to be given in the selection of suitable LHES material since its properties are very significant during the performance and operation of solar stills. Though previous reviews on LHES in solar stills focus only on the productivity enhancement, this paper presents an up to date comprehensive review exclusively about LHES in solar stills focusing on its productivity, properties of LHES materials and the mechanisms behind the variation in properties of LHES materials. Further, in addition to this, a detailed analysis is also presented in this paper by employing analytical hierarchy process (AHP) which enable the researchers to prioritize the properties during the selection of LHES in solar still applications. Besides AHP analysis, we also evaluate the relative efficiency of the available LHES materials for solar still application by data envelopment analysis (DEA) to find the frontier LHES materials thereby suggesting the methods to augment the properties of the frontier material (identified through DEA analysis). Thus, this paper may be a reference guide in the near future for the academicians, researchers to get an overview about the various LHES materials used in solar stills and significance of their properties for improving the yield in solar still applications. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.

Studies on latent heat energy storage (LHES) materials for solar desalination application-focus on material properties, prioritization, selection and future research potential

This study aims to understand the students' behaviour on forwarding content through YouTube by applying UTAUT2 model. Though forwarding content to other users in a network exhibits an implicit consent and adds credibility to the message, the factors that affect a user's decision to accept YouTube and forward the content have received limited consideration. The study reveals that YouTube is largely perceived as a technology for consumption of content that influenced by automaticity, ease of use and hedonic factors. The finding suggest that developers must reduce the buffer time and facilitate easy download, must target informative content rather than entertaining and provide an interface of friends list for quick forwards. The system designers must look into the ease of navigating between other SNS's friend's list that must appear on the user's login accounts which will be compelling for the user to browse and share quality informative content. Owing to the importance of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in environment and biological systems, selective and sensitive detection of this key analyte has gained a large interest in the area of electroanalytical chemistry. Herein, we have synthesized highly water-insoluble phosphonium based carboxyl functionalized ionic liquid (TPP-HA[TFSI]) and characterized using various spectral techniques and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The synthesized TPP-HA[TFSI] was deposited over a multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) coated glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Thus obtained TPP-HA[TFSI]/MWCNT/GCE was used as a host matrix for the covalent immobilization of water soluble protein cytochrome c (Cyt c) through EDC/NHS coupling reaction to form a stable amide bond between free [sbnd]COOH groups of TPP-HA[TFSI] and -NH2 groups of Cyt c (Cyt c/TPP-HA[TFSI]/MWCNT/GCE). Electrochemical characterization of the fabricated electrode by cyclic voltammetry revealed distinct redox peaks corresponding to the heme active sites of Cyt c (FeIII/FeII) with a cathodic and anodic peak at −0.39 V and −0.27 V. Further, the modified electrode exhibited excellent performance towards electrochemical reduction of H2O2. A stable catalytic response was observed at an operating potential of −0.45 V using amperometry. The linear range, sensitivity and detection limit for the determination of H2O2 at Cyt c/TPP-HA[TFSI]/MWCNT/GCE were found to be 20 to 892 μM, 0.14 μA μM−1 cm−2 and 6.2 μM, respectively. Notably, the proposed modified electrode demonstrated excellent selectivity and sensitivity towards the determination of H2O2 along with remarkable stability and reproducibility. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.

Electrochemical biosensor for the detection of hydrogen peroxide using cytochrome c covalently immobilized on carboxyl functionalized ionic liquid/multiwalled carbon nanotube hybrid

The population of India is said to be 1.3 billion as per the census. The availability of doctors for the Indian population is seven doctors per 1,000 people. The state and central govt. are taking measures to improve the public healthcare facility. The community pharmacists in this regard are in the frontline with direct interaction to community. The pharmaceutical entrepreneurs are expected to play multiple roles in the community and family which pave way to face more challenges and stress in both entrepreneurial and family life. Entrepreneurs play a vital role in improving economy of the nation. This motivates the researchers to carry a research on the impact of demographic profile on entrepreneurial traits and family stress. The researchers found that the years of experience of the entrepreneurs have significant association with decision making styles. The study also found that there is a positive correlation between income of the respondents and Machiavellianism attributes of entrepreneurs. Impact of demographic profile of pharmaceutical entrepreneurs on entrepreneurial traits and family stress

The purpose of this paper is to study whether business incubation can contribute to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) internationalization. As the main objective of BI is to increase the survival of new firms, to achieve this goal they need to support them in foreign trade for their rational growth and development which will make them to succeed in their contribution of entrepreneurship development. In this globalized environment, it is becoming necessary to do business worldwide especially, to protect the firms from resource adequacy. In this study, we analysed few empirical research related to SME internationalization with a perspective to identify the available antecedents and outcomes which would make the enterprises beneficial as well as to become sustainable in the market. While, many past studies have measured the services of incubation with various factors like network, social capital, firm’s performance, funding, human resource, etc., there are very few studies that has looked into the process of internationalization of incubated firms. Hence, there is a need for review of literature in this context, to find out the consequences of BI towards internationalization and the survival of the SMEs, which is its ultimate goal. It is also useful for the researchers to build a framework with respect to the measurement of business incubation internationalization process. Internationalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in Indian Business Incubators

Competition from corporate, peers as well as global, small and medium enterprise (SMEs) are major challenges to retain skilled manpower and customer base in information technology (IT) based service industry. Employee attrition has reduced operational efficiency and customer dissatisfaction in SMEs. Although, SMEs adopt different process to address these issues, they found knowledge management (KM) as the best option. The implementation of KM lies within organisation culture and people factors. The study aimed to examine the relationship of organisational culture and people factors with KM process. It was conducted in an IT service provider company that has implemented KM since five years. Descriptive analysis, correlational analysis and structural equation modelling-using SmartPLS were used to analyse data. The results emphasised that organisations' have to give importance to build culture fostering shared vision and collaboration. Moreover trust is needed among employees is needed to promote the activities of KM process. © 2019 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
