Abstract
Implementation of high-speed switching activity in the all-optical domain is one of the required necessities for modern high-speed technology and secured communication. The paper includes the interesting method describing micro-ring resonator structures as switching logic, exploring it to implement the active low tri-state buffer in the all-optical domain structures. The paper shows the switching activity of micro-ring resonator structures along with the corresponding graphs are discussed, including what happens when enabling the effective active high/low all optical tri-state buffer logic functionality. The application and advantage of tri-state buffer logic in the all-optical domain are explained. © 2019, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
