Abstract
Quantum Dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is an upcoming technology in nanometer scale computing. QCA technology is highly advantageous for its high device density and switching speed with extremely low power consumption. In this paper, we have designed two-input Binary to Gray Converter. The functionality of the circuit is verified using the kink energy calculations. Among different QCA structures metallic dot structures operates with a very low temperature at around 1Kelvin, but here we have enhanced the operating range of temperature up to 9.4K. If the distance between two consecutive cells in a Metallic Dot QCA is reduced to1nm, then we are getting better output wave form than standard cell spacing of 2nm. In QCA when the distance between the output cell and the cell just before it is increasing the kink energy is reduced between the cells which results an improvement in instability. © 2016 IEEE.
