

He served the same university as the Dean of School of Electrical Engineering (2011-15). He worked as the Technical Head, IAAB Electronics, a Swedish Electronics Industry in Bangladesh (1992-96). Dr. Mallick led various research teams and developed "Online Lab in Microelectronics", "Monte Carlo Simulator of Compound Semiconductors", "Nanostructured MIM Capacitor", "Low-cost Electric Fencers" and published 104 research papers in different Journals and Conferences of International repute. He has guided 13 Ph.D. students in engineering till date. He is an enlisted technical innovator of DSIR, Govt. of India, 2007. Dr. Mallick is an assessor of NAAC accreditation UGC, Govt. of India. Dr. Mallick and his Team established NxP Semiconductor Lab, Q-Max Technology Lab, Schneider Electric Lab and Danfoss Center of Excellence at VIT University. Dr. Mallick received the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for his Ph.D. research work. He is a Sr. member of IEEE, past Chapter Chair and present Chapter Adviser of IEEE-EDS VIT of Region 10 Asia pacific. He authored a book on Matlab and Simulink and in June 2016, IET, UK has published his book chapter Anodic MIM Capacitors. Dr. Mallick organized four major International Conferences in India, UK, and the USA. In 2016, DrMallick organized ICAEE-2014 (jointly with KTH, Sweden) at VIT University, India and 3rdQS Summer School Summit in Chennai, India. Dr. Mallick organized the 1stWorld Summit on Science, Engineering and Technology at the University of Cambridge, the UK in 2018 and the 2nd Summit jointly with Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI), Indianapolis, the USA during October 3-5, 2019. Dr. Mallickis a reviewer of 12 Journals of IET, IEEE Transactions, Bentham Science and Elsevier. Dr. Mallick is a regular speaker of Elsevier Research Connect Forum, India. At present, he is finding new materials and technology for future nanoscale electronics, VLSI circuit engineering and interconnects. His recent interest also includes the advancement of technical education through innovations. Dr. Mallick has been working also as the Director, Ranking and Accreditation, VIT University, India.
