This paper presents the design and parametric analysis of various ENG structures such as CSRR, C-CLL, C-SR, C-Omega and ELC. Depending on the structure and its dimensions, negativity and S-Parameter characteristics of each ENG structure changes. These structures exhibits either pass band or stop band characteristics depending on negative permittivity and hence find applications in microwave circuits. The structures are realized on Arlon AD250A substrate of relative permittivity 2.5 and thickness 0.49mm. The substrate dimension is (4.5×4.5) mm2. These structures are individually studied under free space excitation using microwave simulation software Ansoft HFSS. © 2016 IEEE.
