Solitons in bragg gratings with saturable nonlinearityPublished in Optical Society of America (OSA)

Coupled-mode equations for two waves coupled by the Bragg reflection in the presence of saturable nonlinearity are introduced. Stable solitons and their bound states fill a part of the bandgap, their collisions being quasi-elastic. © 2007 OSA.
