Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the TPP-ZnO nano particle cyto toxic activity against smoking influenced spermatozoa Design: An experimental study Setting: Gene Cloning and Technology Lab, VIT University, Vellore, Patient(s): chronic smokers who came for first time for infertility issues Intervention(s): Tea poly phenol (TPP) mixed zinc oxide nanoparticle with smoker’s semen against untreated control was analyzed. Main Outcome Measure (s): Spermatozoa motility, viability and appearance of morphology. Result(s): TPP mixed ZnO nano particle will give maximum (5%) of motility and MTT-IC50 shows the maximum viability (P<0.001) with positive morphological changes which near to untreated control. Conclusion(s): Metal toxicity from smoking effect on sperm motility and viability was reduced or improved with another natural antioxidant of TPP through ZnO nano delivery.
