In search for non-metals with appropriate electronic structure, suitable for lattice - matched buffer layers in YBa2Cu3Oy (YBCO) multi-layer device structures and compatible with YBCO in preparation, we investigated PrBa2Cu3Oy (PBCO), YBa2Cu2CoOy (YBCCO) and PrBa2Cu2CoOy (PBCCO). The results of the resistivity and TEP measurements are analysed. © 1994.
