Network on Chip is a scalable solution for the communicational problems on System-on-Chip (SoC). Network on Chip was proposed to solve the on-chip communication problem by separating the concerns of communication from computation. Network on Chip is used to develop large and complex systems of same processors on a single chip. There are hundreds of routing algorithms that are developed by the researches. In this paper we are dealing with the switching methodology which specifies how the message can be routed. © Research India Publications.
