Dr. C. Immanuel Selvaraj Completed his Bachelors in Agriculture from Prestigious Annamalai University, Faculty of Agriculture (1993-97) with Distinction. He joined TNAU for his Masters in Plant Breeding and Genetics [1998-2000]. He Worked as a Marketing Officer in Southern Petrochemical Industries India Limited, Namakkal and Part of Salem in Product promotion and sales of Agricultural Inputs (2000-2003). Later He Joined Ph.D. in Biotechnology in Centre for Plant Molecular Biology. He worked in Marker Assisted Selection (MAS) in Rice for Tagging Resistance gene Analogues Against Blast Disease. He Completed his Ph.D. in 2007 and Joined in one of the reputed Institute Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in May 2007. His area of Interests are MAS, DNA Fingerprinting, and Medicinal plants.
