Brief Introduction about yourself: I joined VIT Business School as a Professor in the HR & OB Division in April 2010. I have more than 30 years of work experience - as a Bank Officer (4 years), Group ‘A’ Civil services Officer (IOFS) for 15 years ( retired as Head-HR) and 1 year as the AGM and Head of Training, Hyundai Motor India. My roles have included almost all areas of HRM, including recruitment and selection, Training and development, Performance management, compensation and Industrial Relations. I have more than 10 years teaching experience as a faculty member with ICFAI University and IBS case Development Centre,, Hyderabad EMPI Business school and Asia-Pacific Institute of Institute of Management, New Delhi, IBS,Gurgaon , IBS, Hyderabad and the VIT Business School. At VITBS, I have taught Principles of Management, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Soft skills, Employability Skills, Performance Management, Competency mapping, Creativity and Innovation management, Compensation Management and Training and Development. My research interests lie in the areas of Talent management and Competency mapping. I have published 3 case studies and 10 Teaching Notes on management, which are available on the www.thecasecentre.org. I have also edited a case study collection on ‘Business Ethics and Corporate Governance’, published by the ICFAI University Press, and have published 5 research papers in peerreviewed international journals. I am presently pursuing my Ph.D. with the VIT University. At VITBS, I am a member of the Summer Projects and internships committee, and am on the coordination committee for provision of information for B-school rankings
