V. Ramesh (M’09) received the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BITS, Pilani, in 1983, the AMIE degree in electrical engineering from the Institute of Engineers, India, in 1992, the master’s degree in power systems engineering from TCE, Madurai Kamaraj University, in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree from VIT University in 2011.,Prior to academics, he had over seven years of experience in industrial switch boards and control panels. He is currently a Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, VIT University, Vellore, India. His current interests include power systems, demand response, and machine learning.
