We analysed five wild leafy vegetables (Amaranthus viridis, Chenopodium album, Diplazium esculentum, Nasturtium officinale and Urtica dioica) of Sikkim for proximate and mineral composition. Wild leafy vegetables (WLV) of Sikkim are found nutritionally rich in terms of calorific value, fibre, protein and low fat which altogether indicate the potentiality of the WLVs as good source of non-conventional vegetables. WLVs were also analysed for antioxidant properties, total phenolic content and vitamin C content. All five WLVs were found to exhibit moderate antioxidant activity with variability in total phenolic content and vitamin C content. It firmly establishes rich nutritional efficiency of WLVs in the local diets. © 2015, Scientific Publishers. All rights reserved.

Proximate, mineral composition and antioxidant properties of some wild leafy vegetables

The browser gets enormous information through the web, sometimes search engine become more significant and at the same moment, the user fulfillment decreases. Most of the web link are query related and fulfill the user needs. There are many redundant links which could bypass to irreverent queries. This paper we deal with semantic web search engines which provides queries that are related to the ones submitted by users in order to direct them toward their required information through relation based page rank algorithm. © Research India Publications.

Uncertainty relations system in semantic web search engine

Wi-Fi is the predominantly employed technology for wireless communication. But the Wi-Fi is inadvertently used, particularly for its internet sharing feature. Most organizations provides Wi-Fi in their premises and the employees are interconnected in that. Even though employees are interconnected they prefer communicating via mobile networks, Bluetooth for chatting and sharing of files and this is due to the unaccounted features of Wi-Fi which they are interconnected. The capabilities of Wi-Fi are feasibly stretched out for P2P communications, video and voice callings and Wi-Fi PANs are used for home automations and many such features[3]. But all these features are not fully explored and the availability of basic features like file sharing and chatting are also not well utilized as they lack in ease of use. Here propose an idea on how Wi-Fi can be used to make our daily life easier. © Research India Publications.

Wi-chat application using Wifi for closed group communication

E-learning facilitates both synchronous and asynchronous learning and it plays very important role in the teaching learning process. A large group of learners are engaged in the idea exchange independently by interacting with the members present in the learning management system. In order to generate meaningful learning outcome of the individual peer learners, the feedback review is very essential to extract the conceptual content which reflect the instantaneous learner's behavior, emotions, capabilities, interestingness and difficulties and to fits them effectively. Collecting feedback in the form of numeric scale is very tough for both the learners and facilitators while specifying the rating, but it is too easy for the learners provide feedback in the form of text messages. The key challenge for analyzers is to extract the meaningful feedback content and dynamic rating of the learner's feedback related to various conceptual contexts. We propose a novel method using multivariate predictive model for conceptual content analytics based on e-learners reviews using standard statistical model inverse regression. Finally the analysis is used in the prediction studies and to illustrate their effectiveness against the learner's feedback. © Maxwell Scientific Organization, 2015.

Review content analytics for the prediction of learner's feedback with multivariate regression model

Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) provides new modularization of software systems through encapsulation of crosscutting functionalities, providing a clear isolation and utilization thereof. The trade-offs are typically a consequence of technical contradictions in requirements. We employ a data structure called a lazy counting based splay tree to analyze the trade-off between the conflicting quality attributes. These contradictions must be conquered in order to achieve breakthrough. The performance of this data structure is verified after considering Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) which could be prevented by same-origin policy. The results are promising and show good potential for lazy counting-based splaying, which is capable of analyzing the overall performance of a splay tree compared with a lazy counting-based splay tree and providing interesting results about both. © Maxwell Scientific Organization, 2015.

Trade-off analysis of crosscutting functionalities using lazy counting-based splay tree in aspect oriented programming

Internet of Things refers to a paradigm consisting of a variety of uniquely identifiable day to day things communicating with one another to form a large scale dynamic network. The integration of these heterogeneous things in the constrained network is a challenging issue, for which service oriented and architecture based solutions are considered to be useful. The key element of any service oriented paradigm is service discovery which allows the client to get access to the right service at the right time to complete the requested tasks. This paper presented a comprehensive survey of major solutions for service and resource discovery detailing techniques and features used in existing systems. The survey presented the findings in tabular representation and outlined the proposed aspect oriented middleware framework for IoT highlighting context awareness and solving certain pitfalls in the existing service discovery approaches. The survey results might be helpful in deriving the limitations of the existing protocols in literature and identify future research opportunities in service discovery.

Aspect oriented middleware for internet of things: A state-of-the art survey of service discovery approaches

Vehicular networking is one of the research areas which need to be addressed because of its features and some of the applications such as consistency, capable traffic management. Many works have been done to address the various issues of vehicular networks and various technologies have been implemented to for the maintenance of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). One of the major issues that we are addressing in Vehicular networking is Offloading scheme. A new Era in VANET has been came into picture i.e., the introduction of the concept of wifi Offloading .Here, smart phone users are rapidly rising day by day. So, the main benefit of having the smart phone is that they can easily access the network at wherever, every place. So, there is an increase in the data traffic of the service providers as the user wants to have instant access of the internet. A Recent survey By CISCO has told that Global mobile data traffic will double every year throughout 2014, growing 39 times between 2009 and 2014. To overcome this heavy traffic the service providers have been introduced a complementary technology called as an Offloading scheme through wifi, WiMax technologies. © 2015 The Authors. An Optimistic Approach for Data Retrieval in Vehicular Adhoc Networks

The web is a medium for accessing a great variety of information stored in various locations. As data on the web grows rapidly it leads to several problems such as increased difficulty of finding relevant information. When a user submits a query to the search engine, it must be able to retrieve information according to the user’s intention. But search engine retrieves the list of pages ranked based on that similarity to the query. Sometimes the results are not according to users interests, because many relevant terms may be absent from queries and words may be ambiguous. Therefore, the results produced by the search engine are not satisfactory to fulfill the user query request. In order to solve this ambiguity, the proposed work is to discover the number of diverse user search goals for a query and represent each goal with some keywords automatically. © 2015, International Institute for General Systems Studies. Deduce user search progression with feedback session

In a progressive digital society, the demand for secure identification has led to amplified development of biometric systems. The demand for such biometric system has increased dramatically due to the fact that such system recognizes unique features possessed by each individual. Iris recognition systems have widely adopted and accepted as one of the most effective ways to positively identify people, so as to provide a secure environment. Though there exists variety of approaches for iris recognition, this paper focus on to examine the matching phase of iris component using cryptographic technique. The performance of the matching phase is well analyzed and it is proved that proposed optimization technique namely, optimized iris matching using Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) would be more effective in nature as compared to other approaches. We have also proved that the proposed approach improves the overall iris recognition system performance by the improvement factor of 10 fold as well. The experimental investigations and the results presented reveals that there is a significant improvement in False Accept Rate (FAR) and False Rejection Rate (FRR). © 2015 Zarka Private Univ.
