Outage Performance of Full Duplex Bidirectional Wireless Relay Networks With Multiple Antennas

Peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is found to be a significant role in multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Partial transmit sequence (PTS) is one of the effective methods to reduce the PAPR in OFDM signals. However, finding an optimum phase factor in PTS scheme is considered to be a significant issue. In order to overcome this problem, we use orthogonal initialization method to identify the initial population for enhanced Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm. In addition, PTS technique uses exhaustive search method to find the better combination of phase factors. This would also increase the computational complexity of the system. In order to overcome this issue, a newly suboptimal method is also used in the enhanced ABC algorithm. Finally, we have combined the space time block coding (STBC) and the PTS based enhanced ABC algorithm to reduce the PAPR and bit error rate (BER). The orthogonal initialization method and suboptimal method in ABC algorithm greatly reduces the PAPR and BER in the OFDM system. MATLAB software is used to run this simulation. Time-frequency analysis of heart rate time series

This paper presents reduction of crosstalk in CNT bundle interconnects using different innovative strategies. First, we propose the use of semiconducting CNTs (s-CNTs) as electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields for CNT bundle interconnects. We compute the coupling capacitance of the proposed CNT bundle structure which shows that the crosstalk can be reduced significantly by using s-CNTs. Next, we propose a novel geometry for CNT bundles that can reduce the coupling between adjacent CNT bundle interconnects. The proposed geometry can make CNT interconnects perform 46% better in terms of crosstalk induced delay than traditionally proposed square CNT bundles.

This paper proposes novel triangular cross sectioned geometry of carbon nanotube (CNT) bundles for crosstalk and hence, delay reduction in CNT bundle interconnects for VLSI circuits. We formulate the equivalent single conductor (ESC) transmission line models of the interconnects and show that the coupling capacitance of triangular bundle is 29% lesser than the traditionally used square bundles of carbon nanotube interconnects. We further simulate the proposed ESC models of capacitively coupled CNT bundle interconnects using Smart SPICE and find that the crosstalk induced delay of triangular interconnects is 30% lesser as compared to square bundle interconnects. The reduction in delay is found to increase as the number of CNTs increase in the bundle. From these results, we suggest that triangle cross-sectioned CNT bundles are the most suitable candidates as global interconnects.
