Mrs. A. Peer Fathima was born on 3 April 1969 at Pettai, Tirunelveli district, Tamilnadu, India. She had her school education in CMS middle school and Tmt. Manjammal Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School at Tenkasi.
She secured her B.E degree in Electrical &Electronics in the year 1990 with a First class at Govt. College of Engineering, Tirunelveli. She secured her M.S. degree in Electronics and Control with First class with distinction at BITS Pilani in the year 1995. She secured her M.E degree in High voltage engineering with First class at Anna University, Chennai in the year 2002.
She started her career as a Lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, at A.S.A. Polytechnic, Tenkasi in the year 1990 and later in B.S.A. Crescent Engineering College, Chennai. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the same department. She has been teaching for the past 18 years. She has to her credit about 20 papers published/presented in the National and International Journals/Conferences. Her area of interest includes deregulation in power system and frequency control.
