Dr. S.K. Sekar is currently working as Senior Professor and Director- Estates at VIT University, Vellore, India. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is having 37 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. S.K Sekar invited as the Chief Guest/Speaker in several conference/ workshops.. He also received honors includes 5 times Best Teacher Award and Research Eminent Award from VIT University. He has completed 6 funded research projects and 18 consultancy projects. He has published 2 books, and 65 research papers in national and international conferences. Having 2 patents in his credential. He has supervised more than 60 M.Tech students, 45 B.Tech students and 8 PhD students. He is life member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), Systems Society of India (SSI), Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), and Fellow of Institution of Engineers (FIE).
