In complex rings or complex fields, the notion of imaginary element i with i 2 = − 1 or the complex number i is included, while, in the neutrosophic rings, the indeterminate element I where I 2 = I is included. The neutrosophic ring ⟨ R ∪ I ⟩ is also a ring generated by R and I under the operations of R. In this paper we obtain a characterization theorem for a semi-idempotent to be in ⟨ Z p ∪ I ⟩ , the neutrosophic ring of modulo integers, where p a prime. Here, we discuss only about neutrosophic semi-idempotents in these neutrosophic rings. Several interesting properties about them are also derived and some open problems are suggested.

Semi-Idempotents in Neutrosophic Rings

Antibiotics have been categorized as emerging pollutants due to their indiscriminate usage, continuous input and persistence in various environmental matrices even at lower concentrations. Cephalosporins are the broad-spectrum antibiotics of $\beta$-lactam family. Owing to its enormous production and consumption, it is reported as the second most prescribed antibiotic classes in Europe. The cephalosporin wastewater contains toxic organic compounds, inorganic salts and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) which pose a potential threat to the organisms in the environment. Therefore, removal of cephalosporin antibiotics from the environment has become mandatory as it contributes to increase in the level of chemical oxygen demand (COD), causing toxicity of the effluent and production of cephalosporin-resistant microbes. So far, several processes have been reported for degradation/removal of cephalosporins from the environment. A number of individual studies have been published within the last decade covering the various aspects of antibiotics. However, a detailed compilation on cephalosporin antibiotics as an emerging environmental contaminant is still lacking. Hence, the present review intends to highlight the current ecological scenario with respect to distribution, toxicity, degradation, various remediation technologies and the regulatory aspects concerning cephalosporins. The latest successful technologies for cephalosporin degradation/removal discussed in this review will help researchers for a better understanding of the nature and persistence of cephalosporins in the environment along with the risks associated with their existence. The research thrust discussed in this review will also evoke new technologies to be attempted by the future researchers to develop sustainable options to remediate cephalosporin-contaminated environments.

An overview of cephalosporin antibiotics as emerging contaminants: a serious environmental concern

Traditional e-learning systems lack the personalization feature to guide learners for selecting the most suitable courses needed. Choosing appropriate courses in the seminal years is important for a future learner who depends on such decisions, as selecting the wrong courses means a mismatch between learner's capability and personal interests. Therefore, a recommender system was developed to suggest and direct the students in selecting the appropriate courses. This study presents algorithms to personalize courses for scholars based on their interests to make learning effective and more productive. The hybrid methodology has been used to retrieve useful information and make accurate recommendations to help learners to increase their performance and improve their satisfaction level. The results suggest that a hybrid approach is better as it will enjoy all the advantages of the individual recommender systems and mitigate their limitations. A threshold-based nearest neighborhood approach will further strengthen the proposed system by finding a similar learner for targeted learners.

As a consequence, ample exploration has been capitalized to innovative traditions of recognizing individual customers who may consume a high hazard of agitating. Nevertheless, purchaser preservation pains consume huge volumes of an organizational resource. In accordance with these matters, the succeeding generation of churn administration ought to concentrate on down truth. A diverse technique of churn prediction has been established to fulfill the above requirements. The work that carried out in this paper is to develop a model that can predict better accuracy of churn. We used the existing models of SVM and kernel function of it and collaborated with the artificial neural networks in prediction. The results proved to be outstanding when both the models integrated with each other. Thus, most of the widespread innovations that have been distinguished in the writing for the extension of a customer churn administration stages which are using the soft computing techniques such as Neural networks, SVM etc.

AbstractIn this article, we study the nonlinear steady thermal convection of an incompressible third-grade non-Newtonian fluid from a horizontal circular cylinder. The transformed conservation equations are solved numerically subject to physically appropriate boundary conditions using a second-order accurate implicit finite-differences Keller Box technique. The influence of a number of emerging non-dimensional parameters, namely the third-grade fluid parameter (ϕ), the material fluid parameters (ϵ1, ϵ2), Prandtl number (Pr), Biot number (y), thermal radiation (F) and dimensionless tangential coordinate (ξ) on velocity and temperature evolution in the boundary layer regime are examined in detail. Furthermore, the effects of these parameters on surface heat transfer rate and local skin friction are also investigated. Validation with earlier Newtonian studies is presented and excellent correlation is achieved. It is found that the velocity, skin friction and Nusselt number (heat transfer rate) reduce with increasing third grade fluid parameter (ϕ), whereas the temperature is enhanced. Increasing material fluid parameter (ϵ1) reduces the velocity and heat transfer rate but enhances the temperature and skin friction. The study is relevant to chemical materials processing applications and low density polymer materials processing.
