Now a days the people's attraction towards Automated Teller Machine(ATM) has been increasing even in rural areas. As of now the security provided by all the bank is ATM pin number. Hackers know the way to easily identify the pin number and withdraw money if they haven stolen the ATM card. Also, the Automated Teller Machine is broken and the money is stolen. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose an approach "Automated Secure Tracking System" to secure and tracking the changes in ATM. In this approach, while creating the bank account, the bank should scan the iris known (a part or movement of our eye) and fingerprint of the customer. The scanning can be done with the position of the eye movements and fingerprints identified with the shortest measurements. When the card is swiped then ATM should request the pin, scan the iris and recognize the fingerprint and then allow the customer to withdraw money. If somebody tries to break the ATM an alert message is given to the nearby police station and the ATM shutter is automatically closed. This helps in avoiding the hackers who withdraw money by stealing the ATM card and also helps the government in identifying the criminals easily. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Almost all people experience trauma in their life. Surviving in the era that has witnessed a lot of trauma, a millennium composed of two world wars and cold wars, has made every human being experience chains of trauma. Traumatic problems affect a person mentally and physically. There is a long history of human associating himself through a way or therapy to find himself out of the Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD). This paper projects the importance of writing that serves as a therapy, with the backdrop of the Tibetan writer Tensin Tsundue. Tibet at present undergoes the tough situations due to the Chinese invasion and Tibetans are mostly away from their homeland and staying as refugees in other countries. Tensin Tsundue is a Tibetan activist and writer, and his works bring out the reality of the Tibetan struggle, where his poems stand as a placard for the readers to identify the lost identity of Tibetans. This paper brings out the importance of writing as a therapy to overcome the traumatic stress, and it analyses how an individual writing brings the impact of collective healing into action.

This paper analyses the experience of middle class women in Indian scenario and how the gap between traditionalists and the educated middle class women in India leads to chaos and confusions in the society and how it imposes great pressure on the women to act according to the rules of the patriarchal community in the society using the selected novels of Sashi Deshpande. It also examines different forms of gender-specific discrimination targeted against women in Indian society.

Censorship rules and laws are important in a society to avoid the circulation of objectionable or offensive contents. Whereas misusing such laws to suppress the nonconformist artists is unjustifable and is an instance of exploitation and manipulation of law and principle by those in power. The anticipation of persecution discourages writers or the artists even to think against the authorities. Eric Maria Remarque is just one among the writers who have undergone the grave situations for raising a separate voice through his novel All Quiet on the Western Front. This paper analyses the workings of ideologies and use of laws as means to suppress the revolutionaries. It also analyses how history is also manipulated and a fictitious version of history is propagated by the authorities by suppressing the dissident ideas with reference to the novel All Quiet on the Western Front.

A new language is learned by many to gain access to other people, cultures and their ways of seeing things. Although the academic world is gearing up with profound changes in teaching and learning of languages, to meet the challenges of the diversified, shifting circumstances, only modern approaches to foreign language education are being widely followed by many institutions while its learners belong to the postmodern era. This brings in a discrepancy between the needs, and interests of the learners and the views held by the stakeholders of education. This paper tries to analyze the existing method of teaching/learning a foreign language through conventional/modern methods and aims to discuss and answer if the modern pedagogy of teaching a foreign language can fulfill the aspirations of postmodern learners in the 21st century? It is found and discussed through the study that the modern pedagogical approach to foreign language teaching/learning process has to be deconstructed to meet the aspirations, needs and wants of its postmodern learners and the society they thrive in. The study thus puts forward a few alternatives, innovative postmodern pedagogical methods like the Digital Native Methodology, Meta-Curriculum, Task Based Learning and Project Based Learning as plausible methods to be included in the postmodern classrooms of foreign languages. © Serials Publications.

In many ways, globalization is heralded as a true successor of postmodernism. However, it has also been regarded as an egalitarian counterpart to the same. In this paper, we analyse globalization in the Indian context and how it has affected the Indian economy. Effects of globalization on Indian economy: A postmodern analysis

This paper aims at analyzing the postmodern fictional techniques like metafictional historiography, disjointed narration, mixing the high and the low and self-reflexivity by situating postmodern narratology within the postcolonial Indian Context in Shashi Tharoor's The Riot. The novel begins from the New York Journal's fictional account of Hindu-Muslim riot at Zalilgarh, Uttar Pradesh in 1989, and transcends space and time through mixing politics and personal lives through multiple narrative techniques. The death of a 24 year old Priscilla Hart, a volunteer of a non governmental organization from the United States is the central action of the story. The reasons for death of the innocent foreigner in India remain a mystery throughout the novel. The novel analyzes the different versions of truths behind the killing of Priscilla Hart through plural, non-linear, postmodern narratology. © Serials Publications.

Postmodern fictional techniques in postcolonial Indian context: A cultural critique of Shashi Tharoor's the Riot

Since the dawn of human civilization, the urge and the longing of human beings for 'Identity' is unique. The efforts made by each person lead to the goal of 'Identity.' Without identity, a human being is nothing. In order to ascertain one's own identity here on the earth, human beings prefer different mediums such as name, house, fame, property, popularity, etc. Of all these elements, 'Name' and 'House' have an effective part to instill the sense of identity among people. Jhumpa Lahiri has said, "The question of identity is always a difficult one, but especially for those who are culturally displaced, as immigrants are who grow up in two worlds simultaneously." Lahiri, not only speaks of her elements of Identity Crisis faced by the people who migrate from the native land to other country, but also of all people in general. The paper here discusses how the novelist brings out the life of a married woman, with her husband alone to talk with, all alone in an alien land where Indian Culture and Individualism has often remained alien ideas. Manju Kapur's "The Immigrant" is a story of two immigrants, Nina and Ananda. The immigrant souls are always found to be divided. Manju Kapur chose Canada as the background for her novel, The Immigrant and discusses the Indian diaspora in Canada. © Serials Publications.
