Indian sugar industry has been a focal point for socio-economic development in the rural areas. About 50 million sugarcane farmers and a large number of agricultural laborers are involved in sugarcane cultivation and ancillary activities, constituting 7.5% of the rural population. Besides the industry provides employment to about 5 lakhs skilled/semi skilled workers who are mostly from the rural area, the Sugar Industry in Tamil Nadu plays an important role in the economic development of the State. Tamil Nadu is one of the leading producers of sugar in the country and its contribution of sugar production is about 10% of the country. In Tamil Nadu, there are 44 Sugar Mills functioning. Among them 16 mills are in the Cooperative Sector, 25 mills are in private Sector and 3 mills in Public Sector. A developing economy, 'Welfare' implies wholesomeness of the human being. It involves the state of well being of the employees working in an organization. It is a desirable state of existence involving the mental, physical, moral and emotional factors of a person which increases productivity. The qualitative dimensions of employment are to provide adequate level of earnings, safe and human conditions of work and access to minimum social security benefits and so on. The welfare measures provided by the employer will further enhance the life of workers and their productivity. Quality of work life (QWL) among employees is as it entails strong participation in many of the programs organized by firms. Statutory welfare measures and quality of work life in cooperative and private sugar mills at Tamilnadu

The telecom sector has gained massive growth in India. It has 1.8 million subscribers and it is the world’s second largest telecom sector. Currently telecom sector has drastically changed their structure and technology. The 4G spectrum has changed the customer’s perception and motivation. The objective of the study is to explore the future opportunities of Indian telecom sector. For this purpose, PEST analysis was used. There was a lack of studies that focused on the Political, Economic, Social and Technological areas of the telecom sector. The study found that there are opportunities in rural telecom sector but they are not utilized in the proper manner.

PEST Analysis of Present Indian Telecom Sector

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Hindi language over English Language in the digital/ online shopping. This study helps to understand the importance of the various languages and its usage in the online and social medial marketing. When it comes to online shopping the language used is very important for the buyer to purchase the product or the service which is required for them. The data is collected from 50 sample population whose regional language is Hindi. The sample method used in Judgmental Sampling. The study shows that online shopper prefers to use English Language while purchasing online. Simple percentage analysis and correlation are the tools used for data analysis. The study reveals that though Hindi is official language, English is the most preferred language while it comes to online shopping and purchasing the product online. The language used, review of the product and the feedback about the product is very essential for the other similar buyers to purchase the product. These criteria will improve the consumers trust and goodness to purchase the product

The Impact of the Hindi Language over English Language in Online Shopping with Respect to VIT, Vellore

The development of the Internet provides opportunities for new types of communications between virtual assistant and human. The technology which is mainly used in the communications is chatbot. A chatbot is a simulated computer program that enabled human conversation by the Internet. The virtual assistant is currently used for a variety of purposes. The chatbot database flow is the important activity for the development of software for the virtual assistant. The process of chatbot testing is based on the well-formalized test cases. The test cases are based on the chatbot trace in the database. Trace path identification during the development of the chatbot software is the challenging process. This paper presents the methodology to identify the test cases for virtual assistant using chatbot database flow-oriented specification. Chatbot database flow is one of the few specification languages supporting for formal description into an applied specification. The database specification divided into several of specification trace using the proposed algorithm. Finally, the chatbot intent trace has provided the path for software test case generation. The experiments show trace path-based test cases that have yielded the effective coverage criteria in the chatbot software development.

Test Path Identification for Virtual Assistants Based on a Chat bot Flow Specifications

The new technology has led the development of the economic growth of the nation. The creators of the new technology keep in mind the need of the people and comes out with most reliable and feasible technology which is mostly diffused and used by the new technology adopters. The technology developed are innovative and user-friendly in the smart phone industry. Every aspect that is considered to build and develop a smart phone are through the research and development. This study focuses on the audience who adopt to use the new technology with respect to the smartphones. There are few studies to show the technology adoption life cycle and its types of adopters. Various smartphone brands keep updating the technology to give its users the best features, the technology adopters also keep up with the updated technology to adopt to the new developments. The smartphones not only develop the hardware but also keep updating their software as well. This study also concentrates and brings out the views about brands and technology adoption. The data collection for this study was conducted in Chennai city. The sampling technique used was judgmental sampling. The questionnaire was distributed to nearly 123 respondents. The study reveals that how the various technology adopters have to be targeted and to market the brand strategically, so the consumers can purchase the smartphones as per their requirement and social status.

Technology Adoption with respect to various Brands of Smart Phones

Agricultural sector is the main income for the rural people in India. It plays a significant role in their life. In India, small and marginal farmers account for 70%, according to the 2011 census of the Government of India. These small and marginal farmers took credit from banks and private money lenders. The non-repayment of credit led to an agricultural crisis and farmers’ suicide. This study focused on the reasons that caused such a disaster. The study rests on a review of the literature which was extracted from journals, reports, and newspapers from 2004 to 2019. The review identified the following reasons for the agricultural crisis and farmer’s suicides- poverty, indebtedness, crop failures, distress, lack of awareness on new technologies, inadequate debt, marketing of produce, the high interest of non-institutional credit, and depletion of water levels. The article concluded noting that -the government had to shift its focus from industries to agriculture and shift its agricultural policies from short-term to long- term ones.

Agricultural Crisis and Farmers Suicides in India

In the current researching and Industrial fields have focused on much-attracted technology is chatbots. Informal agents could provide an appropriate and economic environment in online between the users and service provider. Due to a large number of datasets based on the digital tools, the user’s queries based satisfying responses providing are critical in the service oriented chatbots. The successful human-chatbots interaction must be apparent and reacted by the user. This paper presents a technique to generate the test path for effective chatbot software testing. Identification of relations among the chatbots, transformations, and boundaries of the existing methodology are described. This experimental results associated with four peak chatbot response methodologies along with technology specifications. An in-depth experimental of proposed chatbot test path generation methodology, provides the experimental results and comparison.

Software test path identification for virtual assistants based on natural language conversation flow chart

Biosynthesis of nanoparticles using microorganism is widely used in biological applications due to its eco-friendly nature and lower cost. The present study aimed to investigate the yeast, Candida albicans for the synthesis of nano cadmium sulfide is a semiconductor nanoparticle. The yeast synthesized nanoparticles tested for its spectroscopic and microscopic characters. The peak at 420 nm identified by UV-Vis spectrophotometer confirms the Cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanoparticles synthesis preliminarily. Further, the nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction assay, scanning electron microscope, and elemental dispersive analysis. Finally, the synthesized Cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanoparticles were tested for its antibacterial activity against disease-causing pathogens such as Salmonella typhi and Staphylococcus aureus. The maximum zone of inhibition shows 15mm at the concentration of 100µl of CdS nanoparticle. Thus a promising antibacterial activity of yeast mediated synthesized Cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanoparticles was described.
