Branchless Banking Technologies and Financial Inclusion: An Investigation in Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, India

In image processing, image interpolation is considered to be a very important branch of study. It is very popularly used in the digital imaging processes. In case of Reversible Data Hiding (RDH) process, the cover image can be scaled up or down according to the requirement without compromising the originality of the input image and the secret data can be hidden into the interpolated image. After extraction of the secret data at the receiver's end, the cover image can be recovered by discarding the interpolated points in the image. In the proposed scheme, more than one bit (maximum of 4 bits) can be embedded in the same pixel, only with maximum of ±1 value change in the pixel value. Even though the additional information involved in restoring the cover image and the payload is more, the distortion (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio-PSNR) in the marked image is kept minimal since the embeddable points change only by ±1. The experimental results show that this scheme is superior to the available imageinterpolation based RDH schemes in terms of payload capacity and perceptual quality of the images. © 2016 IEEE.

Intellectual Property (IP) is subject to limitations and the government can impede with the monopoly rights of the IP owners by issuing compulsory licenses, granting licenses of right and daunting with limits on the ground of public health and morality. In the pursuit called competition and development, it is forgotten that an iota of difference does matter. A general perception or what everyone considers as the seeming definition that poverty is a condition where people's basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter are not being met. But many across the globe have no access to indispensable drugs. One basic reason is of course again poverty, where, in many developing countries, consumers do not have enough purchasing power. Other important factors are inadequate national health, infrastructures and financing systems. The prices of medicines also play a vital role as many people in developing countries have to pay for their own medicines and there are no general health insurance systems. This paper addresses the concerns of patent law in pharma industry growth and its implications in developing countries.

Pharma development and law: Are they parallel?

Organizational Justice refers to employee perceptions of fairness in the workplace. It is an essential factor for the success of every organization. The main aim of this study is to examine the effects of organizational justice on job satisfaction of the teachers of Self Financing Arts and Science Colleges in Vellore District. This study employed empirical research using questionnaire to collect data from 150 teachers using simple random sampling. The results show that there is a positive effect of organizational justice on teachers' job satisfaction. Among the various indicators, distributive justice has the strong positive relationship with teachers' job satisfaction. Based on the findings from this study, it is recommended that organizations may embrace justice in all ramifications of their practices towards the employees to ensure high level of satisfaction. © Serials Publications.
