This paper presents a decision making algorithm using Bipolar valued Q-fuzzy set and focusses its application in civil engineering for the selection of cement with its influenced characters. It can be applied for other such scenarios. The Bipolar valued Q-fuzzy takes the positive and negative values for each and every object in the selected set with respect to the constraints. The opinion of the experts in the optimal selection of the cement is analyzed in this study using Comprehensive Index of a Bipolar Valued fuzzy number. © IAEME Publication.

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) has higher reputation in rural development program. Because 500 rural development program in India MGNREGS is best rural development program. The study area focuses on Vellore District of Tamil Nadu because Vellore district is one of the drought affected area. More than 3, 29,357 employees are working under the Scheme. This is the highest population when compared to other District and also women have higher empowerment after implementation of the MGNREGS in Vellore District. Major findings of the study are awareness level of the Scheme is very less and so government tries to conducts awareness program in Vellore district. And also appoints one supervisor for each gram panchayat in Vellore district to monitor work place for better result. © IAEME Publication.

Protein–protein interaction (PPI) helps in maintaining the cellular homeostasis. In particular, the homodimeric proteins play a crucial role as cell regulators. Studying the critical functions of each PPI on the living system is very challenging. The mutations in the PPIs have given birth to various diseases including many types of cancers and it has soon become the target for drug discovery. The mutations in IDH1, an asymmetric homodimer in the cytoplasm, leads to various diseases including gliomas. In this study, we have used extensive computational approaches to identify the impact of missense mutations (R132C, R132G, R132H, R132L, R132S, and V178I) occurring in the interacting region of the IDH1 homodimer. By in silico pathogenicity analysis, all the mutations occurring at the positions 132 and 178 were found to be pathogenic and neutral respectively. Furthermore, the mutants R132C and R132G were found to be responsible for increasing the stability, whereas the mutants R132H, R132L, and R132S were found to be responsible for the decrease in stability by stability analysis. R132H, R132L, and R132S mutants exhibited higher destabilization when compared to the structures of R132C and R132G mutants by molecular docking and molecular dynamics analysis. © 2018 Elsevier Inc.

Investigating the Influence of Hotspot Mutations in Protein–Protein Interaction of IDH1 Homodimer Protein: A Computational Approach

The reality called ‘poverty’ has taken its toll on artisanal fishermen. It is high time that the society heard their problems. This article is an effort to gather all the past literature that is relevant on this topic. The article has been divided into two thematic concentrations. The first theme is based on the poverty condition of artisanal fishermen at the fishing industry level. The second theme follows the first theme. Based on the problems found in the first theme, the second theme associates the domestic issues that have happened in the fishing households. Finally, a slew of solutions have been presented and the article concludes with the trends of the studies that have taken place in the past. © IAEME Publication.

Poverty condition of artisanal fishermen during lean season - A review

DETERMINATION: The foregoing clause of insurance industry may introduce the new innovations among the insurers. The Indian online insurance market is characterized by numerous opportunities for the aggregation websites and Insurance companies to capitalize and grow. The purpose of this research study is to study the factors influencing the trusting by using online insurance services and to know the TAM model. STRATEGY/METHODOLOGY/STYLE: The study is based on questionnaire survey of 150 respondents in Vellore district. The statistical tools used for this study is t-test. FINDINGS: The research study contributes by developing the model for understanding the factors which affect customers’ attitudes and intentions towards online interactions in the insurance industry. Digitalization to lead growth, challenges for Indian insurance, says IRDA chief (TS VIJAYAN). By highlighting Technology-service-trust related factors, it would probably be possible to explain factors that affect trust. RESEARCH LIMITATION: This research paper is conceptual and also need to be tested empirically. Having subject knowledge is not the sufficient for an engineering student especially in the recent economic status of the country. Students are expected to require skills such as problem-solving, communication skills, dealing with information and abilities to ensure their employability in future. Nowadays most of the graduates are interested in starting a business of their own. Moreover, entrepreneurs are one among the important factors for the economic growth in a country. Knowing about entrepreneurship includes management, marketing skills, and finance. In addition, knowledge about financial management is also required for learners to know the commercial opportunities to face the business issues. Apart from this, creating a mindset for engineering students to involve in business should also be considered. The present article observes the role of engineering students in sustaining the Economic Development and their awareness about the financial systems of the country. The paper deals with the issue that how far teaching about the economic aspects is taking place in engineering classes. Since engineers play a prominent role in developing financial status of the country much emphasis is not given to teaching economic and financial knowledge for engineering students. Therefore the paper suggest that knowledge about economic aspects of the country has to be imparted in engineering classes to show that engineers are also responsible for development of the country. © IAEME Publication.

Companies face a great challenge of balancing both risk and return on par. In today's volatile economic environment, success depends on strategically managing risks. All organisations accept risk in every decision that they take and risk management is therefore it is strategic when done proactively. Some risks are financial or quantitative and others are associated with behavioral factors or qualitative. Effective strategic risk management must address both quantitative and qualitative factors. Some factors are difficult to quantify or even identify. This study develops a framework from a literature review to identify most relevant quantitative and qualitative risks affecting public as well as private organisations. Risk planning, analysis and mitigation techniques are then proposed along with guidelines for matching each to a specific contest. Surveys are used to collect evidence from educational institutions, hospitals, banks, and manufacturing organizations to build the model.
