Purpose of the study: This empirical study aims to identify the perceptions of pilgrim tourists’ regarding their accommodation and transport facilities in the Golden Temple, Vellore city, Tamil Nadu, India. Methodology: This study used both primary and secondary data for data collection among pilgrim tourists. Data were later on analyzed using SPSS statistical tools like percentage, Chi-square, ANOVA using Statistical Package for Social Sciences were applied. Results: The findings of the study indicate that the income of the family doesn’t relate to accommodation facilities and the age of the respondents was affected by the transport facilities in Vellore City. Applications of this study: The study brings to highlights the basics of accommodation and transportation and the factors affecting the perception of pilgrim’s tourists. It concludes that the age of the respondents affects the transport facilities in Vellore City. The transportation facilities should be improved for the tourists to attract and improve pilgrim tourism. Novelty/Originality of this study: The study has found that the tourists had sufficient maturity, education and good exposure about their destination. The study found that accommodation facilities such as comfort, peace, safety and security, attitude and behavior of staff, and sanitation and hygiene are not more satisfied. Transport facilities such as Signboard, street lights, traffic rules have to be improved.

FACTORS AFFECTING THE PERCEPTIONS OF PILGRIM TOURISTS IN SELECTION OF ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION: A CASE STUDY OF GOLDEN TEMPLE, VELLORE CITY, TAMIL NADU, INDIA

According to a United Nations report on healthcare, about 75% of the healthcare infrastructure, including medical experts and doctors are concentrated in urban areas in India even through only 27% of the population lives in urban parts. India meets the global average in the number of doctors, but 74% of its doctors cater to a third of the urban population, or no more than 442 million people, according to a KPMG report released in 2017. The country is 81% short of doctors at rural community health centres and the private segment accounts for 63% of hospital beds, according to government health and family welfare statistics. Even though the government is putting in activeefforts to enhance the current fitness care systems by opening primary health centres and helping the rural poor women and children via free medical amenities, qualitative and quantitative accessibility of primary healthcare services is very less in remove village areas. The reason budget in India estimates for health at an appreciable growth of more than 27%. From Rs.37,061.55crore in 2016-17, the budget estimate for 2017-18 has been increased to net Rs.47,352.51 crore. This will help to appear tertiary care, human resources for health and medical education and to support national health mission. For the rural population, health care necessities are different than the urban due to various social economic reasons. Rural populationparticularly women is mainly engaged in agriculture labour movement and they are many challenges like issues in agriculture, health issues, no appropriate primary education and less awareness on various government schemes and benefits. Based on the above various issues, the present study aims to find out theawareness and perception of health issues among women in rural area in Vellore district, Tamil Nadu in India. The findings of the study found that, the respondents have full awareness and perception about health issues and also they were aware of the various schemes and initiatives taken by the government to uplift the rural women and children to live healthy and better life in rural area. © BEIESP.

The perception which the Healthcare sector has about his functioning is completely different from the other sectors. The view of the quality of services provided by healthcare is concerned about the patient satisfaction about the service provided to them rather than then assessing the kind of service provided to the patient. The end –users view on quality deals with accepted impact when they choose on Medical practitioners. The clients are more interested in knowing the capability of medical practitioners to provide remedy for their illness in an affordable cost. The patients wish to select the hospital has prominent effect on the views on Quality. Patients complete gratification and faithfulness about private healthcare provider plays a significant role in understanding the quality of the service. Additionally, client’s inability to measure the clinical standards where each hospital possesses different professional conditions and services like medical specialist knowledge, General physician potential to find out the disease. The Quality of the serviceable aspects are easily judged by the clients when compared to the professional aspects as claimed by experimental studies. Quality is seen and defined as assessment technique in which there is a comparison between his/her requirements and his/her views on service provided by customer. There is numerous advantages in evaluating Quality in Medical sector. It creates awareness among the customer to take prior decision in choosing healthcare provider and medical practitioner. A Study on Service Quality of a Health Care Organization

The internet brought a diffusion of technology in the banking arena. Two of the personal devices which aid this phenomenon are the computer (website) and smartphone (web application). Nowadays, banking is done vividly through the internet that causes both computer and smartphone prone to security risks. This review paper aims to highlight the earlier research deliberations, suggested solutions and the factors related to security issues in electronic banking devices in the past six years. Narrative literature review method was used by reviewing 130 papers from selected database journals. The paper discusses the articles between the years 2012 and 2018. It points and poses unanswered questions, which serve as the scope for further research. Neither a computer nor a smartphone has an upper hand when it comes to security. Security of banking technology does not depend on these devices. Rather the onus rests on the users, service providers and banks. The emerging electronic commerce and mobile commerce industry are not considered in this paper. This paper endeavours to provide a better scope for researchers in future to answer unrequited questions on the role of devices in banking technology security. All the past literature has focused on the peoples’ attitude towards security threats in online banking. A review: Customers online security on usage of banking technologies in smartphones and computers

The floods in Chennai in 2015 raised a question on the disaster resilience of ATMs (1) in India. This papers’ intention was to assess this crisis based on the concept of BCP(2) . Library research was used. The problems of the crisis were based on the newspapers and official reports. Public, private and foreign scheduled commercial banks are covered in the study. The views of the banking industry and the end user have been taken into account. Resources that can aid business continuity have been presented. Additionally, the future of BCP was discussed with regard to the Benchmark Resilience Tool that was developed in New Zealand. The results of this study are: Bank’s action towards a usual circumstance shows its willingness and capability to recover from an ATM malfunction when faced with a disaster. The concept of BCP has not gone beyond IT(3) . A synergistic industry-wide reaction towards disasters is still pending. The focus has been on the Indian scenario and hence the views expressed would be different in the case of developed countries. The technical aspects of an ATM have not been focused. Rather, the focus has been on disaster recovery resources. The observations of certification bodies have not been taken into account, due to lack of literature. This paper is going to add insights into further studies on the empirical level. © IAEME Publication.

Paraphernalias of entrepreneurship - A contemplating outlook

The main purpose of this study is to determine the impact of supply chain management practices (i.e., strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, level of information sharing, quality of information sharing, postponement, and risk and reward sharing on organizational performance, that is, marketing performance and financial performance). The instrument is adopted, and it is administered to 115 target respondents from 6 organizations in Chennai. A valid of 100 samples is taken for further analysis, and multiple regression analysis is employed to determine the purpose of the study. The findings indicated that supply chain management practices (i.e., strategic supplier partnership, customer relationship, level of information sharing, quality of information sharing, postponement, and risk and reward sharing) have significant and positive impact on organizational performance (i.e., marketing and financial performance). The limitations, discussions, implications, and further research will be outlined and delineated.

Recent day’s government of India is more particular about the Road transportation development as it leads to the economic development of the nation. With the improvement of road, the risk of road accidents, injuries and fatalities has also outstretched to the extreme extent. Road accident severity has been recorded to 31.8% in 2017 in India. Among this more than 30% of the accidents are befalling in National Highways. Among the total Indian roads, 1.8% is National Highways which carry about 40% of the Indian traffic. Huge volume of traffics on national highways and the attitude of the driver towards driving on National Highways are the important reason for National Highways road accidents. The researchers in the recent study are going to analyse about the severity of road accidents in National and in state level by calculating the number of deaths to every 100 road accidents. The researchers are also going to analyse the reasons for National highways road accidents from people’s perspective.
