The aim of this study is to analyse the level of role stress and their job satisfaction among fabrication workers. Here, Role stress is explained by two variables, Role overload and Role Stagnation. The study sample covered of 60 employees working in fabrication companies located in Ranipet area. The data were collected through structured questionnaire. The study analysed the relationship between the role stress and job satisfaction and also analysed effect of role stress on job satisfaction. One way ANOVA, Correlation, Regression tools were used to analyze result. The ANOVA result showed that there was no difference between the employees' job satisfaction based on their experience. Correlation result showed that there was a negative relationship between Role overload, Role Stagnation and Job satisfaction. The impact of role stress does not much influence the job satisfaction. But there is mild level of influence between role stagnation and job satisfaction. © Serials Publications.

Analyzing the Relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility and Foreign Direct Investment

Corporate social responsibility: A manifestation in FDI

This study empirically investigates the role of Information and Communication Technology to achieve financial inclusion in economically most backward districts of Tamil Nadu, India, which comprises four districts namely Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Tiruvannamalai and Villupuram. This study took technology based financial inclusion in banking sector such as mobile banking, internet banking, Automated Teller Machine, Financial Service Kiosk, National Electronic Funds Transfer, Real-time gross settlement systems and Immediate Payment Service to know its frequency of usage through multiple regression analysis. Further study was undergone to identify the factors affecting the access and reasons for hesitation towards access. It is found that Automated Teller Machine is frequently used by 48.9% of the respondents. Real-Time Gross Settlement and Immediate Payment Systems are found unused by much respondents. In case of hesitance, irrelevant banking products are the factor selected by 30% respondents (out of 103). Financial illiteracy and lack of frequent income are the major factors identified for not using technology. This study suggests the banks to expand its service by opening bank account with information and communication technology and bank account holders should come forward to know technology based financial inclusion to transform traditional financial system and speedy reach of financial inclusion in this decade. © Research India Publications.

A comprehensive reach of financial inclusion by ICT: An investigation in select districts of Tamil Nadu

This article discusses reviews of financial inclusion in India to identify how it serves the households and economy for growth. A predominant role is being played by financial inclusion policy for inclusive growth all over the world to transform financially excluded population which is numbered as 2.5 billion, of which, one third is populated in India. Financial inclusion is originated from the initiatives of United Nations, which extensively reported the key goals of the policy as access to wide range of financial services to all at an affordable cost, which started its operation effectively in India in the year 2005. As India is the land of rural supremacy, it is mandate to provide suitable financial services for economic growth which will increase the income and living standards of the households. Consequently, greater financial inclusion in rural segments is crucial meanwhile the focus on urban and suburban regions is also required. The core objective of this study is to review literature on financial inclusion in the Indian perspective, discussed by different researchers all over the world and also to highlight the awareness level of financial inclusion, digital financial inclusion and barriers confronted to financial access. The vision of the Reserve Bank for the year 2020 is to open more than new 600 million customer accounts. It is expected from the government to encourage the banks to adopt financial inclusion for proper financial assistance to achieve full inclusion in this decade. © Research India Publications.

Financial inclusion in India: A review

Teachers are the most resourceful persons not only for schools and colleges but also for the society. They shape the society through their mighty intervention in the life of students. Stress is unavoidable part of life due to increasing workload and complexities in daily life. Now-a-days the world is said to be world of achievement and also the world of stress. Stress is anywhere and everywhere, whether it is in family, friends, business, institute or society. Right form birth to death, each and every individual exposed to stress. In this present study, the investigator explored the pertinent factors relating to Job Stress among Teachers by reviewing the relevant literatures from the previous studies. The analysis of studies related to job stress, revealed that stress among teachers are very high level in the present scenario. Hence, the government needs to be aware of these factors of stress and to take necessary steps along with private management, in order to reduce job stress among teachers. © Research India Publications.

Job stress among teaching faculty – A review

India is rapidly emerging as one of the largest growing organic sectors in the world. People are more concerned about food safety, particularly about pesticide contained food products. Organic farming utilises 1.1 million hectares which means that average size of Indian organic farm is 2 hectares. Organic food plays an important role in shifting consumers to more healthy eating habits. A small but growing number of health-conscious consumers are aware of organic food products in the market and willing to pay a premium price for the products, provided that products are readily available in the market with the consistent quality. Consumers' belief towards organic food products are increasing due to the change in the income pattern, improvement in the standards of living as well as easy availability of sustainable food products in urban areas, opening up of organic retail stores and, change in the belief system. Hence, people started to give importance to their health and avoid consuming pesticide contained food products. The present paper focuses on cognition in the form of belief affects the buying behaviour of consumers towards organic food products. The findings of the study conclude that income level plays a significant role towards belief in purchasing organic food products. © Serials Publications.

An empirical study on consumer's belief towards organic food products with reference to Vellore district

According to McKinsey and company, in its report stated that the great Indian bazaar and the organized retail comes of age in India and noted that these are exciting times for Indian retail. By 2015, India is set to become a $450 billion retail market, comparable in size to Italy ($462 billion) and much larger than Brazil ($258 billion). The report estimates that organized retailing accounts for less than 5% of today's market, but is expected to expand to anywhere between 14% and 18% by 2015. In order to achieve a competitive position in the market all modern retail stores work more and wants to retain their customer by offering more discount, schemes and benefits to their customer and also use modern technology to speed up their services in order to satisfy the reliable customers' in big cities. In this scenario consumer behaviour helps to identify the behaviour of the consumer upon that product and also for the market. The main objective of the study is to find the overall consumer buying behavior and preference. Data from the customers visiting big bazaar were collected as population study. The primary data was obtained through questionnaire and secondary data from the company records and through internet. This research work will propose a true idea that identifies key factors which are of great importance to measure the customers' buying behavior and preference towards organized retailing in big bazar located in Chennai city, Tamil Nadu. Technical aids for outdoor assistive navigation for visually impaired people

This paper investigates an exposure to stress among engineering teaching faculty in the work place, to observe the differences between genders and designations. The sample size derived randomly from the Engineering colleges in Gudur and Nellore town is 80. It is observed that the overall stress level is moderate among the teaching faculty. Gender and marital status has significant difference in Institutional stressors. The institutions may focus on causes of work stress and initiative steps for a better work environment and guide them through training and counselling. Institutions also may take up measures to provide better work life balance to the faculty. © Research India Publications.

Institutional stressors among engineering faculty of select colleges in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh

The emotional competence can be regarded as an important personal resource in service work because it moderates the relationships between work characteristics, emotional dissonance, and outcome variables like job satisfaction and Attrition. The objective of this research was to explore the antecedents and consequences of emotional dissonance-leading to attrition among the knowledge workers in the Business process outsourcing (BPO) companies of information technology enabled service sector (ITES sector). The antecedents were the positive and negative attributes of emotional dissonance. The consequences of emotional dissonance were job satisfaction, intention to quit and attrition. From the survey conducted it was found that the Emotional dissonance acts as regulator on the intention to quit and influences the decision leading to attrition as well as job performance. © Serials Publications.
